Jordan’s Corner

Hi, my name is Jordan and I am an 8-year old animal rescuer.  I have a dog washing business and the money goes to rescuing animals. When mom asked me what I wanted people to understand after hearing me talk about animals, I said “I want every kid to know they can make a difference in the world.”

I’m also writing a…. well, my mom says it is a…curriculum… to take to my school to teach kids about animal safety and how important it is to rescue and adopt animals. I even convinced mom and dad that fostering dogs at home teaches responsibility.  It gives me a chance to prove I’m a responsible enough kid to adopt another pet for keeps. It’s sad when a foster leaves but mom sets up doggie playdates so I don’t miss them so much.

In this picture, I am holding Oreo, one of the best dogs we’ve ever had.  We got her from Dallas Animal Services and she knew how to sit after only 3 times of rewarding her.  My sister, Olivia is holding Mamoon and he’s a little naughty.  Olivia likes to help me but its kinda hard ‘cause she’s only 6 years old.

I really want to save all the dogs and cats but there isn’t enough room at our house for all of them.  It would be really great if you can help too!   You can email me to find out how.
