Jordan’s Blog: The Appalachian Trail
Me, my mom and my sister took a road trip to Atlanta, Georgia, and rented a cabin on the Appalachian Trail. Every day, we would go out and hike.
One day, we hiked all the way to a waterfall where we ate lunch and played in the water. It felt so good to get in the water and feel refreshed putting my hands and my feet in there. We hiked 10 miles that day and it was really beautiful to see all the nature, and the insects and birds.
We didn’t see any animals even though dad was scared we would run into a bear. I want to hike the whole trail but mom says we need to work our way up to that since it’s 2200 miles from Georgia to Maine.
