3 Reasons To Sign Up For The TAHP ‘All Fore The Dogs’ Golf Tournament
Sign up for our 9th annual golf tournament and auction benefiting TAHP.
Here at Texas Alliance for Homeless Pets, one event that we look forward to each and every Spring is the annual ‘All Fore The Dogs’ Golf Tournament and Silent Auction. Each year during this amazingly beneficial event, The Beam Foundation puts on a day of fun, entertainment and spectacular prizes in order to help raise funds to support all of our work here at Texas Alliance for Homeless Pets (TAHP).
However, this event is not just for the golfers out there, but also for all of the pets and loving pet owners in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area! If you are a pet owner who cares deeply about your pets and all of the local homeless pets in your area, this tournament is a great way to support the cause. The support we raise at the All For The Dogs Golf Tournament each year goes towards creating a lasting social change in the way that pets have a voice, both in Dallas and all over the world!
This year especially, during our 9th Annual Golf Tournament and Auction on April 30th, 2014, our goal is to help set in motion an alliance for the amazing people who work daily with homeless and abused pets. By signing up for this year’s tournament and auction, you can help to make this goal a reality! To encourage you further, here are three more reasons why you should sign up for this year’s TAHP All For The Dogs Golf Tournament and Auction:
1. Meet local individuals and organizations who are making a difference in the life of homeless pets.
This year at the All For The Dogs Golf Tournament and Auction, you will get to meet a representation of all of the important animal welfare organizations that have already committed to the alliance. In any field or cause, it is amazing to gather experts together around a table to solve their common problems. But in the animal welfare industry, the professionals are making life and death decisions every single day. The Texas Alliance for Homeless Pets, working as a team, is finding ways to impact the homeless pet issue facing all of our communities.
2. Make a difference in the life of homeless pets everywhere.
By signing up for this year’s tournament and auction, you will be supporting Texas Alliance for Homeless Pets and all of the important actions that we take each and every day on behalf of the homeless pets that do not have a voice of their own. Your support of this tournament helps to give homeless pets a voice, and helps us at TAHP resolve the underlying, systematic issues of pet overpopulation in Texas through community outreach and collaboration. And by golfing in this tournament, you can say you played a “Par(t)” in the change.
3. Have a day of fun and excitement with your whole family―pets included!
At the All For The Dogs Golf Tournament and Auction, there is something for everyone! Kick off your day with registration and lunch, followed by a few different golfing events, including a shotgun start, a four-man scramble, and a putt for jewelry contest for the ladies! There will also be a live and silent auction where you could win sporting event tickets, vacation packages and weekend getaways, exclusive autographed memorabilia, and more! And, of course, an awards dinner and evening of entertainment follows the tournament!
